All Breed Rescue & Training

We save dogs no one else will. All Breed Rescue & Training takes in local dogs with nowhere else to go — and gives them a second chance through expert, relationship-based training. Since 1996, we’ve helped thousands of dogs recover from trauma, learn new skills, and find loving homes. Our foster-based rescue and affordable training programs keep pets safe, supported, and out of the shelter system for good.

Happy Cats Haven

Thousands of cats and kittens go homeless each year in the Pikes Peak Region. With the help of volunteers and donors like you, we work to save as many as possible at Happy Cats Haven: 950 last year alone. Our goal is to make sure SAVE means STAY, to give them the best match possible with their new families. We’re here for a lifetime of love, purrs, and companionship.

Harley's Hope

Harley’s Hope is one of Colorado’s oldest and most inclusive safety net charities, dedicated to keeping pets and their people together. We provide critical services such as assistance with unexpected veterinary expenses, emergency foster care for pets when their guardians are hospitalized, pet food support during hard times, and more. We believe preventing pet homelessness starts at home—especially in the homes of older adults facing financial hardship.

Look what the cat brought in

We take medically and socially needy cats for rehab, treatment and adoption. Cats that need more time to become adoptable and that may be at-risk of euthanasia come from Colorado homes, rescue groups and other shelters. We accept otherwise unadoptable cats from the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region so that cats needing longer times to heal medically and socially to become adoptable, have their chance with us.

Paws N Hooves is an all animal rescue organization with a current focus on domestic animals in Colorado shelters & owner surrenders in Colorado. With the national crisis in rehoming, we work with owners to keep their furry family through our community outreach program which may be able to provide food, vaccinations, s/n surgery along with positive only training support. We also help when your friend is on the run and needs help finding their way back.

Safe Place for Pets

Safe Place for Pets helps people who are terminally ill, and their families, by finding homes for their pets. Founded nearly 30 years ago by hospice nurses, our volunteers place as many as 50 pets into new, loving homes each year. This helps a lot of families going through a terrible time and a lot of pets leaving the only home they may have ever known.
