We are turning purpose into progress by creating bold solutions that strengthen our community for generations to come. Through affordable housing, food security, youth development, and community investment, we are building pathways to opportunity, creating access where it did not exist, and designing a stronger future for Southeast Colorado Springs.
We believe the biggest challenges deserve the boldest ideas. That’s why we’re reimagining how communities grow by creating access to housing, healthy food, economic opportunity, and community ownership. Together, we are building pathways to opportunity, strengthening neighborhoods, and creating a future where every family has the opportunity to thrive.
Your gift will help increase Aquapod Farm production to provide more fresh food, expand trauma and resilience education for youth, prepare young adults for cybersecurity certifications and tech careers, and create more opportunities for affordable housing and economic mobility.
In the last 2 years SRCDC distributed over 800,000 pounds of food, serving nearly 90,000 people and supporting 25,686 households across Southeast Colorado Springs and the surrounding communities.
“This service helps my household a lot now that I have both my parents living with me who are both sickly and unable to work, I now have extra groceries I can get free of charge every week. It might not seem a lot but I’m very grateful for it. Especially the fresh produce and vegetables they offer.” — Anonymous patron of our food center
