PFLAG Colorado Springs is building a more caring, just, and affirming community for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them. We provide free resources, monthly support meetings, educational programs, an informative newsletter, community outreach, and advocacy at local and state levels. Through connection, education, and action, we create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered, where every family knows they belong.
Our work changes – and saves – lives. When communities are inclusive, people are safer, healthier, and more likely to succeed. We partner with local organizations to oppose harmful anti-LGBTQ+ measures. We support families’ rights to make healthcare decisions and access opportunities in school. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with LGBTQ+ people and allies in the ongoing fight for equality, dignity, and belonging.
We’ll continue to support future leaders through the scholarship funded by PFLAG Colorado Springs at Pikes Peak State College. We will invest in leadership training and community education, ensuring that we, alongside our partner organizations, are prepared to meet the challenges ahead.
Since 1994, PFLAG has been powered entirely by volunteers. Last year, we expanded outreach by 25%, and partnered with 24 local entities to bring speakers, films, support and training to our community.
