Via hands-on study, Institute for Anatomical Research honors the uniqueness of each human body and fosters appreciation for diversity beyond textbook definitions of ‘normal.’ Adult students and health professionals in our community describe the impacts of our Drop-in Classes as ‘life-changing’. In our Anatomy for Life program, high-school students discover how lifestyle choices affect their bodies, are inspired towards health careers, and report coming away with new body-positive perspectives.
Everyone deserves to know the wonder of the human body. Everyone benefits from understanding the beauty and interconnected complexity of the form they inhabit. Everyone is empowered when they receive deeper knowledge about the gift of their unique life. The entire community benefits when each of us appreciates our singularity, as well as our shared humanity.
Many students cannot afford to pay the nominal fee for our Anatomy for Life program. We want to make it FREE.
