Flying Pig Farm has been a community learning farm since 2014. Our mission is to cultivate resilient relationships with food and natural systems through land-based learning. We work with schools and community groups to cultivate food, learning and community! We do this through farm-to-school programming, work-learning internships, facilitating workshops, community events, land restoration & stewardship, and food production.
We get students out of the classroom to immerse them in their value as growing contributors to our community! Whether students struggle or thrive in traditional classrooms, almost all of us benefit from the opportunity to get our hands dirty and connect learning to hands-on tasks like cooking from scratch, caring for farm animals, growing our own food, and tending to the world around us.

– Make Farm to School education accessible for all!
– Reach over 1,200 k-12 students in 2027
– Plant an edible hedgerow of native shrubs, trees, and berries
– Complete the process of protecting our 3 acres of land under a conservation easement
Each Summer, our high school interns learn to cook 5 different farm-to-table feasts serving a total of 150 people throughout the Summer!
