Dale House helps young people facing adversity build stable, connected, and purposeful lives. For more than 50 years, we’ve offered more than services: a community where young people are known, encouraged, and never reduced to their struggles. Through caring relationships, housing, life skills, career preparation, and counseling, we help them discover their potential and take steps toward adulthood. Our Christian faith inspires this work; young people of every belief and background are welcome.
Every young person deserves someone in their corner. Many who come to Dale House have faced instability, broken trust, or uncertain futures. They need more than a place to stay or a service to receive. They need people who show up, believe in them, and help them grow. By earning trust and building belonging, we help young people find the confidence, skills, and relationships to shape their own future.
As Dale House enters a new chapter, we invite our community to help young people do more than overcome a crisis. Gifts create the time, relationships, safe spaces, and real-world opportunities that help them find belonging, build skills, discover purpose, and move toward lasting independence.
Among young people who complete their work with Dale House, 89% return to school, find employment, or secure stable housing. Each milestone represents a young person moving toward a stronger future.
“A former dale house client who was homeless when we met her. She is now enrolled in college and frequently returns to visit the DHP. When asked why she said: “College students go back to their families sometimes, that is why I come back - to check in with my family”” — Ashley
