Our equine-assisted programs empower riders with physical, emotional, and developmental issues to help discover their greatest strengths while gaining self-confidence and self-reliance through the special relationship with a horse. This is the Ultimate Horse Power at CSTRC!
Our Mission and passion are to make a difference in the lives of our riders with specialized equine-assisted therapies using horses as the classroom. These programs help our riders with different challenges from autism to emotional, physical, and behavioral, to rare diseases. Our riders get personal instruction from their certified instructors, and with our therapy horses, this is a life-changing experience for them.
To continue to provide financial assistance through our Financial Support Program to families who cannot afford our full fee for therapy. 2/3 of our riders are in our Financial Support Program.
Maintain the utmost care for our therapy horses through our veterinary services, feed, and farrier.
The movement of a horse helps with mobility, posture, and alignment of the rider which produces constant balance reactions similar to walking. This helps riders with physical balance challenges.
