Our affordable training also helps families address behavior challenges before they become surrender decisions, keeping more dogs where they belong…with the people who love them.
Too many dogs are given up on before they’re truly understood. We believe every dog deserves patience, compassion, and the chance to succeed. By saving dogs with nowhere else to go and helping families overcome challenges before they feel they have no other choice, we’re creating a community where more dogs stay in loving homes and more second chances become happy endings.

Behavior issues are cited in nearly 2 out of 3 dog relinquishments. This year, ABRT will provide over $25,000 in discounted training to help keep local dogs with the families who love them.
