Reclaiming Hope cares for survivors of sex trafficking to discover hope – at the point of recovery, during restoration and reintegration by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
It happens every day in Colorado Springs: people are sex trafficked. It’s one of the most traumatic experiences anyone can have.
We walk with survivors after trafficking. We match them with trauma-informed, trained mentors with whom they can talk about anything. We help with practical needs, some housing, job training, case management and life skills. We help them dream and live active, healthy lives.
Our impact grows each year – we need help funding our apartments ($50,000+), rolling out our life skills curriculum, and meeting the practical needs of the survivors we interact with ($10,500+). We encourage budgeting and savings. We need to add another case manager.
It’s happening in every neighborhood in El Paso County and across America. There are 1.1+ million victims in the US, 5 of every 1,000 Americans. We help survivors leave their trauma behind them.
