At Our House, our mission is providing opportunities and environments to build bright futures for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along the front range of Colorado, we walk beside 130 individuals helping them gain confidence, develop skills, and find belonging. We provide day programs, residential services, skill-building, and community engagement for adults with disabilities.
Our work matters because every person deserves the chance to live with dignity, purpose, and opportunity. For adults with disabilities, the right support can be life-changing. We’re committed to creating inclusive spaces where individuals are empowered to grow and while building a community where all lives are transformed.
Our goal is to create an inclusive, sensory-informed environment where individuals with IDD can thrive. By supporting diverse learning styles through movement, touch, and expression, we plan to use the money raised to create a Sensory & Technology Experience Suite for our day program.
9 out of 10 adults with IDD lack regular access to sensory-informed environments tailored to their learning and engagement needs. Our House is working to change that, one inclusive space at a time.
“For Sterling and I, Our House means support, friendship, acceptance, and community. Sterling's independence has grown immeasurably. His life has been enriched by the relationships they foster and the activities they support him in. He has access to a rich, adult life, just like we all deserve!” — Kayleigh Sheble
