The Garden of the Gods Foundation is dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing the natural beauty of the Garden of the Gods Park. Since 1994, Garden of the Gods Foundation has contributed over $6.7 million to preserve the Garden of the Gods Park, ensuring that future generations can experience its beauty and wonder. Our work supports spaces where families, hikers, and nature lovers can connect with the outdoors, find inspiration, and create lasting memories. By protecting this iconic landmark, we help to enrich every aspect of our community.
The Garden of the Gods Foundation aims to:
1. Implement conservation projects to protect and restore park ecosystems.
2. Complete Visitor Center expansion. This will increase Visitor Center capacity, increasing revenue and boosting Foundation contributions to the park for future generations.
In 2022, Garden of the Gods Park visitation generated $487 million in local business activity and contributed $272 million to our local economy!
