Fostering Hope surrounds foster families and young adults leaving care with the extended family they need. By restoring belonging and stability, we help children heal from trauma, support parents so they can keep going, and guide young adults toward independence. With the service of staff, volunteers, and donors, we transform lives across the Pikes Peak region.
Every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and part of a family. Too many in foster care grow up without that foundation. When families are supported and youth aging out are not left alone, children heal from trauma, parents can persevere, and young adults become thriving members of our community.
Our goal is to bring foster families off the waitlist and meet the rising needs of children in their care. With added funding, we’ll expand mentoring, stability resources, and life-skills training so more youth can heal and step into independence.
Did you know? Nationally, nearly half of youth aging out of foster care face homelessness — but for those we serve, it’s under 10%.
