The Colorado Springs Festival of Lights Parade is a beloved 40-year holiday tradition, fully funded by a dedicated board of volunteers as well as grants, donations and sponsorships. It’s completely FREE to the public and accessible to anyone in the community. The annual Parade brings together people from all walks of life to celebrate the holiday traditions that are most meaningful to their families and friends.
Nearly 60,000-80,000 spectators view the Parade completely FREE each year! Anyone, regardless of circumstance or social status, can come out to enjoy the Parade. he event is run by a dedicated board of volunteers and is funded through a combination of donations, grants and sponsorships. It is not funded by any government or business entity and is managed by the board and two paid contractors.
We seek to expand our funding mechanisms to ensure sustainability beyond the current board and into the distant future. The Parade belongs to us ALL and isn’t owned by any one entity or mission. Its mission is to provide holiday spirit and love to to the whole community.
