Colorado Springs Conservatory (CSC) is the premiere multidisciplinary arts education space in the Pikes Peak Region. CSC fosters a robust, inclusive, and joyful learning environment for all students, from the curious to the serious. No other organization in the region offers the range of study provided at CSC. All under one roof, a student can study theatre, take a private lesson in voice, play in a jazz ensemble, and record an original work in our recording studio.
Colorado Springs Conservatory is a vital safe haven for arts-minded students – A space where young creatives are encouraged to find their own voices and pursue the visions they have of their futures.
We believe exposure to performing arts creates more empathetic, thoughtful and confident young changemakers in our community.
CSC is about more than just creating music and theatre. It’s about Making Dreams Reality!
We are currently expanding our school partnerships which currently include schools in Districts 2, 11, 12, 8, and 20. Many of these students have lost all access to arts education due to federal budget cuts, so providing these students access to after school training requires scholarship funds.
Nearly $50,000 in scholarships were provided to over 70 students last year, and we hope to continue growing the scholarship program to increase accessibility to the arts. CSC served nearly 2000 students last year through our after school programs and school district partnerships! Many of these students have no access to arts education outside of the Conservatory.
“As both a Board Member of the Colorado Springs Conservatory and the Chief Communications Officer for Harrison School District 2, I strongly urge your consideration of this proposal. Our partnership with the Conservatory does more than expand students’ musical education—it opens doors to future care.” — Christine O'Brien, Harrison School District, Chief Communications Officer
