WHO WE ARE | The Give! Campaign is a year-end fundraising campaign for local nonprofits in the Pikes Peak Region (defined as El Paso and Teller counties). We commit to connecting nonprofits to local donors in fun, fresh and innovative ways. Last year, we raised $1.2M for 74 local nonprofits and plan to raise even more money for returning and new nonprofits this year.
WHY YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE | The Give! Campaign seeks to inspire philanthropy in the Pikes Peak region by connecting and equipping local nonprofits to evidence-based, best practices in fundraising. We use our brand power to connect local nonprofits with local media partners who will share their stories and increase community exposure. We offer free training workshops, run by experts in their fields on how to succeed in the Give! Campaign and beyond as a nonprofit in the Pikes Peak Region. We also facilitate productive networking opportunities among local nonprofits who face similar obstacles.
Every year, thousands of local donors traffic our giving site to find worthy nonprofits to whom they share their year-end gifts. This year, make sure you are one of them!
HOW TO GET STARTED | Are you ready to join us on a year-long journey that ends with you harnessing the Give! brand to power your organization's mission? We will show you exactly what to do and when to do it in order to meet your fundraising goal in the 2023 Give! Campaign!

82 nonprofits in the Pikes Peak region have been chosen to participate in this year’s annual community-wide giving campaign
COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO (June 17, 2021) -- After raising more than $1.6 million for 78 local nonprofits in 2020, the Give! Campaign has selected 83 nonprofits for the Class of 2021. Now in its 13th year, this annual year-end campaign helps raise awareness for nonprofits in the Pikes Peak region and makes it easy and fun for everyone to give back to causes they care about.
Of the 82 nonprofits selected to participate this year, 18 are joining the Campaign for the first time, including Space Foundation, a space and science epicenter that enables visitors from all walks of life to engage and participate in the wonders of space through exhibits and immersive programs; and Two Mile High Club, a 100% volunteer-based organization that provides shelter, food and medical care for the Donkeys of Cripple Creek and shares the historic contribution of the donkeys in establishing the Pikes Peak region. A complete list of this year’s participating nonprofits is available here.
“2020 was a year like no other and during the pandemic, our community showed up in droves to support the nonprofit community, ultimately raising more than $1.6 million for Give!,” says Lisa Amend James, Executive Director of the Give! Campaign. “During the 2020 Campaign, many of the participating organizations had to change their operating structures and work around the clock to provide desperately needed services and emergency relief for others in our community who were severely impacted.”
According to Amend James, the 2020 Campaign raised more than $31,000 than the 2019 Campaign despite the pandemic. “This is a testament to the community’s unwavering commitment to the many nonprofits who truly make up the backbone of the Pikes Peak region.”
Since its inception in 2009, the Give! Campaign has raised more than $14.6 million for 230 local nonprofits, including $1.6 million in 2020. The Give! Campaign runs from November 1 through December 31 each year and encourages community members to learn about and connect with a wide variety of nonprofits in the Pikes Peak region. The Campaign provides networking opportunities, competitions, donor rewards and media exposure for participants and specializes in helping smaller and less well-known organizations raise awareness and unrestricted funds. Local nonprofits apply each year to participate in Give! and are carefully vetted by a panel of local community volunteers to ensure each is a solid investment for donors. The Campaign then provides valuable nonprofit skills training and exposure through TV, radio and print media partners.
The organizations selected to participate in the 2021 Campaign support veterans, the arts, health and human services, youth, the great outdoors, and animals, among others. Selected nonprofits will be featured in the annual Give! Guide, published in the Colorado Springs Independent, the Colorado Springs Business Journal, the Pikes Peak Bulletin and featured online at www.campaign.givepikespeak.org. The campaign will launch on November 1, 2021 and will run through midnight on December 31, 2021.

We join our community and the world in grieving for the life of George Floyd and so many victims of racism. We add our voice, and share this on behalf of the Give! Campaign's board of directors:
It is past time for all people and organizations of good conscience to speak up and to act, to not only acknowledge the pervasive racism, injustice and violence suffered by our black neighbors, brothers and sisters, but to join the fight to dismantle it. We cannot profess to value equal opportunity if we remain silent or fail to act.
While we acknowledge this is long overdue, at the Give! Campaign we commit to dig deeper and actively fight for change. We commit to listening and learning to understand our own personal and organizational roles in perpetuating racism and inequality. We commit to grow our understanding and to actively take on anti-oppression work for ourselves as individuals and as an organization.
We echo these words from Renny Fagan of Colorado Nonprofit Association. “A year from now, five years from now, a generation from now, we want to be able to look back on 2020 as the tipping point for radical change because enough is enough, and silence was never an appropriate response.
Together, let us commit to propelling the revolution and ending systemic racism because Black Lives Matter.”
Our Pikes Peak region community is responding to the current crisis with an outpouring of concern, support and a desire to help. The Give! Campaign is no exception and we remain committed to our unique role of inspiring philanthropy and supporting diverse local nonprofits.
Our plan is to create the most effective 2020 year-end giving campaign possible, with the goal of helping our community and local nonprofits rebound from this crisis. In the meantime, needs are urgent, so we created a Support Local Nonprofits resource page for people who want to help now.
Please check it out and share it with family and friends who want to help, too.
Local nonprofits across the spectrum provide vital quality of life programs we must preserve. The 2020 Give! Campaign will provide a rallying point for our community to support these vital causes so nonprofits and our community can survive and thrive.
Thank you for all you do! Together we are stronger.
Now more than ever philanthropy is needed to support our vital local nonprofits. We are planning a powerful year-end campaign to help mobilize our community to emerge strong from this crisis and rebuild.
