Suicide Prevention Partnership unites our community to prevent suicide in the Pikes Peak Region through education, intervention, and postvention. No one is turned away—our donation-based model ensures that everyone can access support regardless of ability to pay. From prevention trainings and resource navigation to therapy, peer support, and the LOSS Team of El Paso County, we are here for our community every step of the way.
Suicide deaths in El Paso County are finally declining — proof that our collective efforts are making a difference. Yet, at this pivotal moment, major funding sources are being reduced or lost altogether. Don’t let progress slip away. Stand with SPP to bridge the gap and keep saving lives.
Our goal is to keep El Paso County moving forward in the fight against suicide. We’re working to close funding gaps, reach more people with life-saving education and support, and ensure that every individual and family touched by suicide has somewhere to turn. Together, we can protect the progress we’ve made and build a stronger, more connected community of care.
Did you know? In 2024, El Paso County achieved a 60% decrease in youth suicides — the most significant progress in years. This milestone was made possible through strong community partnerships and the leadership of Suicide Prevention Partnership in uniting prevention efforts across the region.
“The help provided by the Suicide Prevention Partnership, made sure that my household did not experience the worst tragedy I could imagine. I went from feeling scared and powerless to feeling hopeful and empowered. SPP has been showing up for our community and now it is our turn to show up for them! My son's life was saved which saved my life too; this organization makes a difference.” — Anonymous Group Participant
