MedWheel builds and maintains trails for mountain bikers and all users across our home, the Pikes Peak region. More importantly, we also build strategic relationships with land managers and decision makers at all levels of government, and in the private sector, to create and expand trail opportunities. MedWheel’s Trail Love program enables YOU to volunteer on our trail system- to give back, to heal the trails that heal YOU – today, and for future generations of trail users.
Just like you we live in the Pikes Peak region because we connect to the outdoors, through trail experiences that rejuvenate and heal us.
MedWheel speaks up for YOU during public processes, and amplifies your voice. We combine decades of experience with modern techniques and equipment to make more and better trails for mountain bikers and all users. If you love our trails, please consider supporting MedWheel.
In 2026, we will break ground on the Forest Lakes-715 connector trail – the first new singletrack (not a reroute) on the Pike National Forest in over 30 years! We will also continue to maintain the trails and bike parks you ride every day, as we advocate for permission to construct more new trails.
Our new digital membership app provides easy access to the latest trail advocacy information, community events, and discounts at over 30 local businesses that love trails, and the list is growing.
“MedWheel brings professional expertise, creativity, and a community-first mindset to its trail projects. Their team knows how to get complicated projects like Forest Lakes over the finish line- from design and construction to the complex approvals required to make a public trail project a reality.” — Anonymous
