Lotus Foundation is the only organization in the Pikes Peak region serving all survivors of human trafficking: women, men, boys, and girls. We provide advocacy and case management, and in 2026 we launched Home Safe, Colorado’s first trafficking-specific rental assistance program. In 2023, we served 24 survivors and in 2025, we served 77, more than tripling our reach. Every day, we help our neighbors move from surviving to thriving.
Trafficking survivors are often invisible — overlooked because they don’t fit the story people expect a ‘victim’ to look like. Men and boys, labor trafficking survivors, and those without documentation are turned away from most services. We believe every survivor deserves to be believed, safe, and given a real path forward — not just the ones who fit the mold.
With full funding, we’ll grow Home Safe — our new rental assistance program — to serve 30 survivors a year through a 12-month step-down model. We’ll also expand advocacy to reach more labor trafficking and male survivors, populations most often left without support.
On average, trafficking victims are missed by 9 professionals before someone recognizes it. Lotus helps trains our community to close that gap.
